Look on the dancing floor, my sweet
People dancing and lying and dancing some more
With every nod and smile we meet
With cash they spend and lies galore
But we can see through their prance
Can’t we?
The thing they try to hide so well
The loathe and regret and lust and need
Their vacant life they try to sell
Its easy for those who belong to their creed
Grievance and loathe lead their dance
Let them be!
Oh darling, let them be

Silences
When are you going to forget it?
I have an answer to all your silences,
To every doubt you have
And every worry seen on your face
I have an answer for everything
Right from the the time when you saw me
Till the time when you saw me with him
I have an answer for everything
I hate the look I see in your eyes
the trapped love that you’re too good to let out
The broken safety of each other’s arms
The mistrust that even now lingers
I have an answer to everything
If only you would ask
If only you would listen.
Anchor
I lost you, my anchor, today,
And I float through space, unbound once again
Freedom sneers back, is suffocating even
The space is within me now, dark and open
Where every breath echoes
A hundred times over,
And the darkness engulfs me unbound forever.
I wait through the dark, sobbing in my pillow
My breath gushing out with silent screams
I dream of you besides me
Holding me close, bound by your arms, forever
I sob my pain off, as you cradle me up
The night passes by
Nothing’s changed
But soon i wake up to our empty bed
Everything’s changed…
I lost my anchor today.
Open seas
Open seas take me away
Take me away to a faraway place
make it rain there
Make it snow
make it wondrous
Oh Winds, blow
Ages under the darken soil
I’ve been waiting, biding
My time
So now its my turn,
Oh Gods of Wind
Take me away
Break down the blackened shades
Lift me up and let me sway
Open seas, take me away.
Charms and Reflections
Charms and Reflections
Lies and more so
I wish I could face the mirror
And honestly say for once
That I know it
Have known it for long now
The smile here is a work of art
Of my talent to lie
to you and to me
So now I am ready, finally,
To say
I don’t love you.
